Welcome to Wellington Cottage, it was purchased the cottage in early 2008.
The prior owner recently remodeled the entire main level installed all new appliances, including a new stove, microwave, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. The cottage also has central air and a window A/C unit in the carriage room, which is a overflow bedroom. The front dinning room and kitchen provide a panoramic lake view; the main floor includes a master bedroom, kitchen, family room, dinning room, and walk out patio with sliding glass door. The basement includes a double bed, two bunk beds, and a walk out to the lake. The master bedroom and family room have ceiling fans along with the carriage room.
The cottage is fully furnished, including cookware, misc kitchen appliances, and a new outdoor grill. (We’re sorry but no pets or smoking is allowed). You will need to bring your own bed sheets and towels.
Outside activities include a gradual sandy swimming area. Stone Lake and the smaller connected Mud Lake are great fishing lakes and promotes a 10 – 15 MPH speed limit, which helps to provide a quiet, and relaxing get-away. We include a long pier, paddleboat, and many kid’s water toys for your use.
There is a one-week minimum rental during the peak season, which is from May to August. Weekend rates are avalible on a case-by-case basis during the off-season. Your week starts on Saturday at 2:00 pm and ends on the following Saturday at noon. Please leave the cottage in as clean of condition as you found it, which includes cleaning the kitchen, putting away all outside items, closing all windows, doors, and putting all trash bags in the outside dumpster. A one hundred ($100) security deposit is due when you reserve the cottage. This will be refunded after you vacate, so long as there are no damages or extraordinary cleaning needed.
2008 Rates are as follows:
May is $400
May last two weeks is $500
June is $500 per week
Last week of June is $550
July 4th week is $750
Remainder of July is $650 per week
August is $550 per week
Sept to Dec is $400 per week
** Off-season non-holiday rentals are $1,100/mo.
Plus utilities; daily at $90/day with a 2 day Min.
